If this was the work of satan that glass would be on fire. And the water may have transmuted to blood.

Letting the days go by,
Water landing upside down.
Letting the days go by,
Water landing upside down.
Onto the floor again,
You'll only get to see this
Once in a lifetime:
Water landing upside down!

so the glass fell vertically and force from hitting the floor was not enough to shake the glass from a vertical stance?.

when you do this you should be able to break the seal with your finger or other item ie carpet fabric and the water should stay in so long as you don't displace too much of the water.

this works when some water leaks out of the glass but no air. so you form an airtight seal with water but as some of the water has leaked out (needs to soak into something not fall out) you increase the volume the air in the glass occupys so the presure is reduced cauesing the presure of the air outside the glass being higher than the preasure inside the glass this holds the water inplace but no it could not be done by a glass falling off a table realisticly but it could work on carpet as..

I do this with a table mat with my friends to piss them off. When your friend leaves the room.... Put the mat on top of their glass of whatever they're drinking and flip the glass upside down with the mat still on top (if you do this well enough, no water will leak). Then, put it down on a flat, hard surface and slowly slide the mat from under the glass. Laugh when your friend returns xD
But I don't see how you managed to do this with the glass just falling. I don't see it as possible

just tried to do this, probably should have only tried once... and with a smaller glass too. probably shouldn't have put pepsi in it either. note to self i am out of pepsi

We did this the other week, we just put cling film on the glass and turned it upside down, looks cool, but still. That glass is on carpet, so it wouldn't be flat to the ground, so even if it was knocked over the water would still leak out...
