I have some Vietnamese friends, 2 brothers and a sister, and they love each other unconditionally. Especially now that we're all in college, we all hang out as friends. Still, though, they rat on each other to their parents constantly. I asked them about it once, and they said that it is indeed annoying that they tell on each other, but they do it because they want the others to do better.

This is the best thing i've ever seen. As a teenage girl with an older brother I can wholeheartedly say she deserved it. You don't rat each other out- it's like the golden rule of siblings. Yeah you fight and get each other in trouble, if they nick or break something, but you don't give up hiding places or secret stashes. Bad sister.
